We are pleased to announce two new projects commencing in 2020!
GDC is excited to be working with Volansky Studio Architcture and the owners of the Grey Birch house again! The Grey Birch Workshop will provide woodworking space, a home office and outdoor gear storage just across the dooryard from the home we completed in 2018.
Our crew is also under contract to build a new home on Thomas Lane in the village of Stowe. The owners are working with ELD Architecture to make modifications to the design ahead of excavation that will begin later this summer.
We are making great progress at the Mt. Mansfield Ski Club Academic building. The academic building's exterior features timber framing by Mad River Post & Beam, stone work by Parisi Company, and Marvin Windows from Windows & Doors by Brownell. Both the academic building and the exercise facility we completed in 2017 are designs by Sam Scofield.
The Lower Sanborn home is ready for painting as well, and we look forward to welcoming the owners home in August. This modern farmhouse has beautiful views from every angle, Pella windows, custom cabinetry, a luxurious master suite and a bunk room.
GDC also completed a unique home at Four Winds Farm in Waterbury in 2019, designed by Harrison Mulhern Architecture.
