We are well underway with the construction of a new restaurant in town. On the site of the former "Mes Amis" building which we took down in November, an exciting new Latin/Caribbean restaurant is taking shape. The inside floor plan includes 2 extensive commercial kitchens, seating for 75 in a restaurant and bar area and upstairs with 3 efficiency rental apartments. Framing is completed and outside finishes are coming together. Miguel and Maria Garcia are anticipating a fall 2009 opening date.

Creative Pages Inc. has moved into their beautiful new Greek Revival design office building in the lower village of Stowe. This building was welcomed by the town as it fits in well in the historic district. It was also the recipient of the first place prize in the "Stowe Goes Green" competition!
